How to become a closer at Scale Society
Every seller at Scale Society is selected in person and certified before a live call. This is the full process, from the form to your first call.

The selection process
Selection has seven stages: application, personal review, a group session on Zoom, a 10-minute role-play, the agreement, onboarding with certification and going live. Nobody skips a stage.
- A short form, about 3 minutes.
- A person reads it and decides on an invitation.
- 45 minutes on Zoom: the product, the role and the pay, with screening.
- 10 minutes. You get a scenario and we play the buyer.
- An independent cooperation agreement without exclusivity.
- Five days of listening, role-plays and a quiz, ending in certification.
- Closers receive appointments, setters start calling.

What happens after you apply
A person on the team reads your application and decides whether to invite you to a group session. We look at your languages, experience, high-ticket background and available hours.

What happens in the group session
The group session is a 45-minute Zoom call where we show the course, explain the roles and the pay and answer your questions. It is also the first screening, so be on time and keep your camera on.
We do not record the session.

What is the role-play
The role-play takes 10 minutes: you get a short scenario and we play the buyer. Closers handle a hesitant buyer, setters handle an early no.

What do we look at during selection
We score eight things: language, experience, listening, the role-play, respect for the rules, availability, reliability and the kind of energy a buyer trusts. Promising income or using pressure ends a selection.

What is in the cooperation agreement
The cooperation agreement sets out your commission, the weekly payout and what you may and may not say to buyers. You stay independent, choose your own hours and are free to work for other companies.

How do onboarding and certification work
Onboarding takes five days: you listen to calls, do three role-plays per role that we sign off and pass a short quiz on what you can and cannot say. Only then are you certified to take live calls.

When do you go live
You go live once you are certified and the course is available in your selling language. Closers then receive appointments in the portal and setters start calling.
